It's not. Gal*gun is a rail shooter, this game (and harem trigger by the same dev) is a more standard fps game. You run around like in most normal fps games, only with the girls/enemies chasing or shooting at you.

but sex games in VR is pretty weak. it's usually sex or games, hardly ever a crossover like this
Iragon was supposed to be that, but they (stupidly) moved away from doing sex and focused on an adventure game, and I don't think anyone is really happy with the final product.
I loved the demo, personally. but if they didn't go in a sex direction, then it's just an alright game.
Overall, a pretty good title. My only complaint is that I bought the original (non-VR) version first, and that plays a little better. The movement in the VR is a little worse/slower, so some fights are more difficult due to poorly done VR mechanics than skill/bad luck. It needs a little more polish for the VR version IMO, but overall a good title.
